Diablo was attacked
Today at work on my way back from lunch in the parking structure the arm that raises to grant entry decided it was mad at Diablo and came smashing down on my hood. There was no dent but nice scrates. I filed a report with Security/Facilities and the supervisor is supposed to call me tomorrow. I doubt they will pay for it to be removed so I will end up buffing it out. I was freakin Pi$$ed and considered actually gunning it and ripping the thing apart, but common sense kicked in.
Still at work or there would be pics. it is not htat bad but I feel they should atleast pay to have it buffed out. I want to get a srt hood anyway but not because of this.

Monday we went to get the shingles for the roof, had to do it in two loads since the dakota couldnt handle all 13 squares of it... Anyways, the first load they hand loaded it, then the second load, they decided to be lazy and use the forklift. Stupid asses dropped the pallet on the wheel well putting two nice dents in it. Then instead of taking two minutes to put the longer forks on, they decided to pick up the end of it and push it in (remember there is no bedliner, so imagine what that did to it.) I understand it is a truck, but before that the bed looked brand new. Now it looks like it belongs in an old ford or something. Filed a complaint with Menards and got a call from their insurance people the very next day wanting to know how we could resolve it... **** happens, sorry to hear about diablo yimmy.
Jimmy is this at your work? It aint gonna cost you much to buff it. Do you work for a large co or small co? I wouldn't push the issue, may not send a good signal to your employer, I would take the high road and just ask them to pad the arms so it won't happen again, something that should be don't anyways. At my old job we didn't have gates just armed guards and caged turnstyles to get into the building. But when I go to parking garages I hate dealing with the arms ESP if its old and needs Viagra cause it doesn't go all the way up.
jr mech have you ever taken a forklift test, a blind monkey could pass it.
Before I had my truck I took my buds truck up to lowes, well got about 1000 pounds of paver stones and I was paying for it, it tool his wife along with me so she was by the truck when the guy was putting it in, thankfuly I saw the idiot and stopped him but he was setting the pallet flush on the tailgate, so half on tailgate half on the bed, yeah imagine the forces on the rear susp. The guy finally moved it deeper, he still didn't understand why he was wrong.
