QC, I just noticed your cat is missing... do you have an aero where it used to be? if not consider putting one there. it'll help with mileage... about 1.0 mpg or so. I had no cat, 30" magnaflow as my setup and was consistantly down in the 14's~15's for mileage, added the aero and it jumped to 15~16's about 20~30 days after the install (needed time to breakin I guess).
If all else fails... drive the jetta lol... I just picked up a 1.8t MKIV... not a diesel but it is fun to drive and I like having upper 20's low 30's for mileage.

No I don't have an Aero. I'm thinking that my muffler may be clogged with crap out of my cat that was shredded by the previous owner. Funds are a little tight so I don't see an Aero anytime soon, but hopefully eventually I'll get one. Should I leave the muffler on? I was thinking of running without it until I found a little cash for another one.

I have done 2 tests with the MM module so far. The first was unloaded cruising at 2000rpm. For me that is just over 70mph.
With module 20.2 overhead 18.1 hand calculated
Without module 18.5 overhead 17.3 hand calculated
2nd test pulling my small motorcycle trailer. And loaded with camping crap 330miles roundtrip cruising at 65-68mph
With module 21.8 overhead 18.8 hand calculated
Same trip last year 18 or so MPG Bone stock.
So it does increase MPG. But not a ton and it really screws with the overhead gauge making it look awesome. If it screws with the gauge that much what else does it screw with? The power increase is slightly noticeable but not much at all. I don't know if it is worth it for the gains I got? Maybe maybe not. I was hoping for more. I think I might trade it for a muffler.

I think it adjusts timing and does boost fooling. I just downloaded the the most recent update and the truck seems to have a little more pep. It must add fuel as well and that is why the overhead is off by so much. I have noticed that it does lower EGT's a little. I haven't towed with it, but I think it may keep EGT's lower while towing as well.

I pulled mine out and I am sending it back. I think if you already drive like an old lady it doesn't help too much. Maybe if I was pushing it harder I would see more increase. For me it is not worth screwing with and having possible warranty issues. I am getting an Aero muffler installed instead. We will see if that helps anything. At least it won't screw with my gauges or anything else.
