Default I MIGHT BE THE OWNER OF A CTD TODAY!

went and looked at a truck yesterday! I liked it(some minor dents in it but thats all). If everything checks out at my dodge dealership this morning(had to wake up at 6am today! im 17 im allowed to complain!) then im going and buying the truck today!!!

here is the truck:

Ranchand is dented in the front. I was told by a different dealership that i can take it to a Ranchhand dealer and they will cut and reweld the bottom of it for under $100! so I was not that worried! Comes with the black toolbox, exhaust, cai, 3in lift and 35s! Got $12k on my trade in(other dealerships would only give me $9k!) and got the price to $20,000 on that truck! I kept the truck overnight and so I got to drive it a lot, and it feels great! Can't wait to buy it!!!! I will keep yall updated and give you pics!

Nice looking truck. Watermelon had really good service from his '04. As long as the dealer gives it the thumbs up you shoud be good to go.

Sounds like a good deal. I love autotrader, its how I bought my truck. Local dealer woudl give me $25k for my '06 2wd with 17k miles and would give me an '07 4x4 for no less than $44k (wouldnt budge off sticker). I hopped on autotrader for about 4 weeks and finally found my baby, 28k for my trade and $32k for and '06 with 5k miles. Biggest problem I had was not getting a good deal on the new truck since I could hav ehad brand new for $500 more but it was getting them to give me a good deal on the new truck and the trade.

Great price on that 04. I paid 18k for an 03, but it has 101k miles on it. Mine also has the manual with the 3.73. be sure to save your pennys and get an edge juice with attitude to wake it up. Be sure to bring dad to co-sign for you since your only 17.

Yeah my dad is going, but it is in my name. I am paying cash on this truck(dad is helping me out $2000 for this truck, I saved up pretty well!)

The truck is still getting check out! just called the dealership and they are almost done, so far so good though! So I should be rolling in a new truck by 1pm today! I HAVE to go test out the 4x4 () so I will be sure to get pics for yall!!!!!!!

Really this thing is so powerful I am going to get my system installed and fix the ranchhand before I put the edge w/A! I will be able to live with that power! My friend has the EXACT same tires on his 2000 Chevy 5.3 L and his truck stuggles to get up to 80! This diesel pushes like there is nothin there! I LOVE IT!!!!![sm=deal.gif]

Don't forget to save some of that many to fill your tank up to get you home. $4.15 a gallon here. When I was 17 it was 89 cents. I could eat school lunch for a week and fill up my 1979 datsun on $20 a week. That was only 15 years ago.

When I was 17 it was $.99 cents per gallon, I used to fill up my chevette for around 10 bucks, I swore that if gas/fuel ever went above $1.00 I would quit driving. Guess I lied to myself

That is pretty awesome. Getting a new truck is always fun, probably even more when you are 17. Good luck on fuel.

look and see what engine you got. 04's realy had 4 different engines. 250hp cali version, 280hp SO, 305hp HO and then the 325 '600' motor. you can figure this out by looking at the engine data plate. it will tell you the rated HP at 2900rpm.

I have an 04.5 '600' motor and there are alot more options when it comes to upgrades due to the engine being more electronic.
