RE: Our trucks in mud
just with any vehicle. . .once it stops, you stop. if you have to stop find some hard ground so you can get going again. I have taken vehicles larger than beasty mudding, just to get to the fools that got stuck[:@]
8X8 can be your best friend if you know how to use it
not mine, but I drive one when in uniform on the weekends

RE: Our trucks in mud
I know how to drive in mud, this aint my first truck. I have been in some pretty nasty stuff in a 2wd. And I have seen plenty of Hemmits stuck in the mud. 8 Wheel drive and 54 inch tires cant always get a truck that weighs more than a house out of everything. You ever go mudding in an LMTV in a junkyard in Iraq? LMAO, that was fun. My buddy and I pulled a wrecked camry around a junkyard with a tow strap with an lmtv. That was the most fun I had in a long LONG time.

I'm Georgia National Guard. during the weekend I parade around as a 63BH8(Wheel Vehicle Recovery), during the week I work as a 35H(Calibration Specialist).
Been in for going on 13 years, deployed to Bosnia, probably going to be in TrashCanIstan this time next year.
Edit: for what I can come up with off the top of my head, Frogger, Simon, Cumminalong, and Nick have been, or are currently in the military.

Awesome! I myself carry a 13B (Cannoneer [was on a M198 Howitzer]), 31B designator (MP), and am currently a 13M (Rocket Field Artillery) in the Wyoming National Guard. Did a tour Feb. 04 to Apr. 05 and am on alert for another in June 09. Hope I get my '6 before that happens.
