Default Plastic crap-Venting.

I detailed my interior 100% for the first time yesterday. So while I was vaccuming my carpet under the dash, I decided to take a look underneath the dash and see whats in there. Plastic accel pedal, and plastic clutch pedal. What the hell is this junk? Also, what I thought were speaker holes in the dash, usually they are, they are not. They are just......holes. I wonder what else is fake or plastic that should be metal.

Plastic Clutch pedal, just another thing to jack up the price on for a replacement, because I know that thing is gonna eventualy break.

just wait till you find out they skimpt on the airbag.

plastics do help with the weight and cost and can be quite durable, but then again it is a truck and is supposed to take beatings, i know the first time i changed my differential and saw that rubber plug on the pumpkin i thought for sure there was still gonna be a bolt behind it.

The holes in the dash where you thought there were speakers is where they put a few of the speakers for the 7 speaker infinity system. My 02 had the holes and no speakers and my 05 does have them. Mass production. If it works for all, but only some USE it, it still works![:@]

I see. Extra speaker holes. Good to know, the stock stereo is not loud enough at 60mph with the 5 windows open. I wouldnt mind if they skimped on the airbags. I would prefer not to have them there.
RamItOne, you sayin there is nothing but a rubber plug keeping out diff fluid from spillin out?

that's what is on my 9.25, you should have. 10.25 but don't see why it would be diff. Yeah I was shocked, pulled it off to see what size socket I needed, figured it would be a 13mm the same as the oil pan but then dammit it started pouring out, didn't have the catch pan under it yet so got another lil oil stain on the driveway. Even got a notice from the homeowners assoc, damn snobs.

What's the status with your intercooler and air damn??

Homeowners Association? Screw that. That is the first thing I ask about when I am moving somewhere. I hate that ****. It turns out it was dark when I saw the damage, and I never bothered to look at it again because I was afraid of what else might be broken. Long story short it is my radiator that is bent. Not leaking, so Im good. I am saving up for a ranch hand bullnose and skid plate so I can avoid this from happening again.
