A nice big chuck of plastic fell through my dash. About the size of a football. Now it looks like a jigsaw puzzle that some one threw a foot ball through the middle of it. When I pulled the plastic out, it crumbled in my hands. My grandfather's nasty peanut brittle that he ate all time was stronger than this cheap plastic crap.

Honestly Bob, I think I would order the dashboard from a company who specializes in replacement dashboards. Both the Coverlay and the one from LMC appear to be priced close, so I'd probably go with the Coverlay.

I'd probably start by calling LMC and ask if it isn't LMC who they get the covers from. It very well might be. Either way, I'm DEFINATELY digging the black grill idea !!

 

I didn't even notice it when I bought my truck that it has the cover on it- It took about 3 months. I can only imagine what it looks like un there being in the Texas sun for 7 years. Mine matches up very well and the color is perfect.

I have never ordered from LMC before but most of the people I talk to say that they generally don't sell junk. I was thinking hard about buying the black grill, then I saw where they only charge for oversize shipping one time, so really I'm saving an extra $20 if I get it from LNC.

 

Yeah, I'd give it a shot. Just check Coverlay for that other piece first. It looks like they sell another piece that LMC doesn't offer. Just make sure it's not a piece that you'll hafta order later.
