OT: Back From Vegas
We are back from Vegas and had a great time. Spent lots of $$ and even won about $2000 between the 2 of us but wound up feeding it all back to the Casino's. We did get to take a Helicopter ride over Hoover Dam and I shot a little 3 minute video of it. It was "March Madness" and Vegas is packed durring this time. Me and a buddy spent alot of time in the sports bars drinking FREE booze from early am to wee hours of the morning on a few days. And the rest of the time was spent drinking free booze everywhere else. I am sooooo sick of Sea Food and Prime Rib I could puke just thinking about it!!
All in all it was a great vacation and can't wait to afford to do it again!!
Here is the Hoover Dam Vid...............

Yep, thats the one. We figured since we were still 3 miles from the dam and in stop-n-go traffic for an hour before we reached that casino, we would just take the Helicopter.
I'm glad we did and it was an awesome ride!! The $29 price you see is just for a 2-3 minutes flight over Lake Mead. It cost $59 per person to fly over Hoover damn and Lake Mead. Still pretty cheap for what your getting I think, especially with fuel pricec the way they are!

Welcome back Buzz !!
I took the helecopter into the Grand Canyon for lunch. It was supposed to be a couples thing, but i went by myself as my ladyfriend was sick. Worked out pretty cool because I got to sit up front. I did wander off too far though and I got in trouble with the pilot. While the other couples were eating their romantic lunch, I was looking for snakes under rocks and throwing boulders into the river.

vegas is fun, got to stay away from the tables though, i just dropped 1400 in 30 minutes in online roulette just a few days ago. texas hold em is great though.
if you go back again check our bryce canyon, its a ways north but blows the grand canyon away..
as for the hoover damn, the first and last person to die during construction were a father and son or granddad and son, something like that.

I don't know buzzy but if you fed a minimum of $2000 into the machines that sounds like pretty expensive beer. Here in Nevada few of the locals actualy gamble, we say they don't big those big casinos off people winning.
