As for accuracy... The Amount shown on the gauge its the amount of fuel I'll pump in my tank normally (+/- 0.2 Gallons roughly) If the accurancy is lost just recalibrate it... Oh that's right the "Overhead Idiot" can't do that... (LMAO!)

 

Pumps here shut down at $75 for gas and $100 for diesel. Usually costs me around $110 @ $3.79/gal. from empty.

 

I've always liked that little gizmo MM73. It just plugs right into that same port that you would plug a regular code scanner into doesn't it?

 

32.9 gals at 3.879... $131.00. Thank god she's not the daily driver anymore. That should last me a month or so..

 

If you use a debit card in So Cal., the pumps are set to shut off at 50 bucks if using debit and 75 if using credit.
Kinda of a PIA but what can you do???
I used to have fun pulling into a station, flip the attendant a 100 bill and tell them Ill be back for the change.
Now, I do the same thing and wait for the _)(*()* pump to shut off.

 

3.89 was 115.00, Dad called and said he may have to leave his bus parked this year and not make his trip up north because of the fuel costs.

He offered it to my brother to take to family reunion, but that's 800 miles even at 7 mpg that's 114 gallons @ 4.00=576.00 or 1152.00 round trip, he said I can get a motel room for the week for less.

Hell it's going to cost me 360 in the truck

 

The price of fuel was the only reason that my friend and I bailed on bike week in Daytona this year. We usually tow the bies down on a trailer to Daytona, and then ride the bikes from Daytone to Key West. It's just too expensive now so unfortunately we aren't going. Sucks too because I absolutely love that trip.

I almost did a happy dance at the station today. On the drive into work I'm seeing all the pumps up around $4.15....got to my station and they still had it at $3.99. I was beyond low so it took 31 gals...so yeah I don't want to see that bill

If it was warmer than 38 degrees at 5 am I'd be riding. A couple more weeks

 

A real biker would get on their bike and ride.....
