Default Ram Seat Upgrade

My seats were hurting me so I upgraded them. I cut anti-fatigue mats (grey from Lowe's) into 14" x 17" peices and stacked them three high under my seat cushion. I unhooked the bottom set cover from the back and side and side them under....one, then another, then another. It's like having a new truck!! Now I feel like I've "Grabbed Life By the Horns"!

Would have loved to see the install pics. Hard to picture without visual aid and anything that equals added comfort has my attention.

sounds like a good idea. I looked into a real truckers seat but they're way too high, its ashame cause they're damn comfortable.
I've been wanting to get the dersert marpat cammies seat covers buy haven't found a place that sells them.

No pictures but here's a recap!
1 First UnHook Three Plastic Clips one on back and two on side facing the door.
2 Power seats so I had to remove cover on seat controll and seat recline lever with Phillips Head.
3 Lifted up cover and cushion from the side.
4 From the side, slide one additional padding(17"x14") between cushion and springs.
5 Then repeat 4 twice more to add two more pieces of additional padding.
6 Pull seat back into place and reinstall three plasctic clips and covers.
Only takes a few minutes and sure makes a big difference.

FYI I used 14"x17" cut sections from a grey anti-fatigue mat that Lowe's sells.

So you never even removed the seat from the truck?

My seats are powered and have lumbar. I wonder if that stuff would get in the way.

Correct I never removed the seat.
I also have power seats and lumbar.
This won't be affected because all I did
was add the extra material atop the wire springs
and kept it with the frame.

That sound similar to what I did to the driver seat on my 05.
I added a piece of upoulstry foam between the seat and the springs.
Got the idea from here.

Almost feels like riding on air seat.
