It either doesn't like animated pics, or your pic is too big. I resized mine and now it's fine ( yet no longer animated )

 

If IE = Internet Explorer, well ... that's what I'm useing and it worked for me, although I'm still useing XP, not that new fancy Vista that probably came with your new computer.

 

Yeah I got vista, I think it may have more to do with my virus scanner and firewall then internet explorer.
