campermamaI thought the 75's are narrower then the 70's, you rolling resistance should have reduced slightly.This should have been close to a neutral change. I also have a Bed TruckCamper~ 1750kLBS. Started with the Stock 265x70x17EMichelins. Moved to the TOYO 285x70x17D. Now I have the ProcComp 305x65x17E AT. Did a bit better on the HWY but lost a little at take off. Do the Air intake box, intake manifold and the bigger less restrictive exhaust then the stock one.You'll have all that you lost and more HP_Torque then when the truck was stock and new.Your MPG will be better providing you don't flog the pedal. This will be my next project after the triple gauge set-up. This will allow me to baseline all my numbers so whatever improvement-modificatinons I make I will be able to measure and compare.

Thanks Drew, are you running gauges too? So you can monitor, tranny, etc...?

Ive got a westach boost/egt gage. since i have a manual that is all I need. if you do ahve an auto a tranny gage is a must even if your adding as little as 30hp.

even stock, gages are handy to have to help diagnose certian problems

Angry, the 70 and 75 have nothing to do with the width of the tire. That's the 265 and 285.

eg. 285/75/17 = 285 milimeters wide/75% aspect ratio (This means that the SIDEWALL is 75% the distance of the WIDTH of the tire, the 285)/17" rim.
