Bought a 2004.5 HO
Hi guys,
I am a proud owner of a 2004.5 (03/04) HO, auto, 2x4 quad cab. It only has 120k miles. The paint is all original (white) and has 1 small dent on the hood, otherwise its perfect. The interior is perfect and looks great. The engine has not been pressure washed(yet) and the valve covers are dry.Their original asking price was $17.9k but I end up paying $15.1. What that a good deal?
Any good sitesout there that I can read more about the pros/cons of my model.
Thanks,
Gio

Congrats! To me, the milage sounds kinda high, but the price seems real good. There is alot of sites out there on the web, and this one is the best one to start with. Now, we just need som pics!
lol, I thought the mileage was low for these trucks :-).
I was considering a 1 owner 200k 2003 4x4 Cummins. Drove 100 miles to check it out and it was a mess (cosmetic wise). The owner was asking $14k but the front/rear bumpers were damaged, the bed had a 2 inch deep cut (yes, a cut)in it on one side and the other side has a square foot area primed. Driver seat has a 4 inch rip. Ofcourse these "imperfections" were discribed as dings and dents and a perfect interior. So after finding the 2004.5 truck the decision was easy, lol.

04.5 w/120K not too bad. that bad boy has been driven. Ive got a 04.5 as well. no regrets and she runs like a top, now with my TST removed
these engines can be hopped up quite easily.

Sounds to me like you got a great deal! I paid 24,999 for my 05 with 103K. And lucky you picked the 04.5 over the 03... the 04.5-05 have a better engine than the 03's from what I've heard and read. BTW, Drew... TST?
