Hey Sabersix, I recently ordered a fuel filter myself from Geno's. Have you tried changing yours yet? It looks like it just threads on like an oil filter.

Not yet, my truck now spends most of its time parked on the street so I'm kinda stuck at 12,000 miles.
The filter does screw on/off. I've read that to get the filter to empty through the drain tube, you have to unscrew it enough to break the seal and then drain the fuel. Otherwise, you'll be wearing it... Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
i did mine once allready, i wore it. you need to completely remove the screw on the bottom. the fuel will not come through the hose. the hardest part is taking off the tire and wheel well liner to get access to the filter. what a PITA!!!! the whole job took about an hour, plus a bag of speedy dry. no wonder the dealer wanted $90 in labor to change the filter.
