I've had an S&B setuup on my gasser for about 15k miles now, with no problems. I know the diesel is a whole different beast, and I'm trying to decide which setup to get for it as well now.
But for what its worth, S&B has great quality products and customer service, and I'm 90% positive their filter setup for the diesel is dry.

Amsoil Nano fiber drop in (its the same stuff found in the air filters for the Abrams M1 tank) and it has more air flow then a stock air filter. One nice thing is that it can be cleaned with air and its good for 4 years or 100,000 miles. Also I've read about some dealers who are trying to void warrantys on the 6.7 if they have an after market CAI on them.
