I agree with dirty here, AFE's are worth checking out.

BTW, ya need a "none of the above" poll choice also.

Agreed, a "none of the above" or "other".. reason being; There are a few guys on here including myself that run the BHAF or a Custom built peice. (pics of my custom peice in my gallery) The one thing to think about though is the amount of air these motors suck through the turbo. I have read many many claims that oiled filter are not good for these truck becuase they tend to dry them out rather quickly and almost unnoticably and then they become non-effective. That is something to keep in mind. For a pic of a BHAF setup, check Drew's gallery.

Just noticed you added AFE. Add one to that and subtract one from K&N (voted before you changed that)

Voted other. I use an AEM brute force system. I went with this one due to the fact it is a dry filter. I didn't want to get into a filter that needed to be oiled all the time. Its the only one I have used, but it works good and I like it.

i have the aFe. i like it; no problems. when you decide to clean it, you pretty much have to allow for most of the day that you wont be able to use your truck. that kinda sux. i guess you could always buy 2.

How about for the southwestern people here. Arizona mainly. I will be way out in the desert 100% of the time so I need something that is gonna keep out the most dirt. I know Airaid is developed in Az, and S&B uses Az silt (the finest of the finest dirt ever.) Performance gains are not my priority. They are a factor, but keeping the crap out of my engine is #1. The stock type air filters suck when it comes to keeping dirt out, I have seen some pretty nasty filters from just regular summer driving.
