S&B Cold Air Intake
So, I am thinking of selling my intake. Its had roughly 10,000 miles put through it and I just cleaned it. Decided to go with a ***** Whistler intake (I think). I rode in my buddies last weekend and fell in love with it. If anyone is interested let me know. If you want to know more about it: Click here

Why don't you like it?
Of all of the aftermarket air filters, I really like this one the best because it totally looks like it restricts all of the "under hood air / heat "from getting into it and rely's solely on tyhe air from the fender ( the colder air )

I don't have any problems with the filter itself. I have been absolutely satisfied with it. I am not overly thrilled with having to oil the filter and worry that too much or not enough is getting on it. It also doesn't allow the turbo to sing like the ones I heard this weekend I am a huge fan of that. We will see. If nobody wants to go with it then I will probably stick with it for a while.
i have that filter and love it. i have nothing to compare to other than the stock box and i do not know if it truly puts colder air int othe engine but i do notice a better sound from the turbo. im curious to see what your results are with the ***** if you sell the s&b.
but for the record to who ever is thinking about buying the s&b..... I LOVE IT!

Nick - did you find any improvement in MPG's or Power? I hear a lot of people say that they are getting worse mileage but I thought mine went up a little. I mean I can do 80+ down the highway and get between 18 - 20 consistently now a days. Granted I am running the smarty but still.
actually i did not have a perfect average on my mileage b4 adding the s&b but i would have to guess it went down or stayed the same and i did not notice any power gains. alls i noticed was the turbo spooling, and under a heavy load it really screams which makes the 200 that i spend well worth it
It does make the turbo scream but I rode in my buddies and I loved it. So I think I am going to switch it up. Plus its a dry filter and for as much dirt as I drive in it just makes sense for me to have something thats easier to deal with.
