You can always put some wood on the jack and raise the max. height...

I bought a floor jack from sears... thought it was a great deal... jack.. 2 stands... i think it had a 3 ton lift... but i couldn't get the jack in a spot to get my tires off the ground... horrible.... So... next day i took it back and then went to Home Depot and looked at bottle jacks... grabed 4 of them for about 60 bucks or so.... Work great... No problems... no leaks...

I lifted from the shock mount. It is strong enough. Also, the pad on the jack is pretty thick, so that helps.

RamItOne- It did lift the front off the ground, but not before it blew a seal and spat oil onto my driveway.

I was hoping it would break. I dont trust it from reading the reviews. I am glad it went now and not a 12 months later after the warranty expired.

go to northern tool and get a jack there.
My jack isn't a quick jack where it only needs 4 pumps to get up. The good quick floor jacks are gonna be over 300 bucks.
