98 Ram Turbo Quit on me...help!!
I have a 98 Dodge Ram Turbo with 180000 miles on it. It is a work truck and i was working on a terribly dusty work site for the past few months. Tonight, i left a stop sign, and heard air blowing as i was speeding up. It sounded like when the turbo was spooling up it would blow quite hard against the firewall on the right side. I took a quick look and couldn't find anything yet. The air filter was dirty and the indicator showed that it was 100% dirty. I changed the filter. But now, no turbo power. Where should i start looking??? Thanks!!

I wouldn't drive this truck at all till you correct the problem!
You have no gauges present. So the pyrometer (exhaust temp) will be extremely high if there is no boost pressure available and very well can burn a piston up without a turbo.
But here is a write up for a turbo inspection...

But check all boots and plumbing of the air system...
You might consider a BHAF...
