Default black lights?

So i read on an earlier forum this past weekend the trick to painting the inside of the headlight bezels to make em look like night runner lights at this website:http://wiki.dieseltruckresource.com/wiki/Black_Lights. Has anybody actually tried this? I had extra blue paint left over from my door handles and thought the truck might look sweet with electric blue headlights. Well after taking the lights out and heating them over and over in the oven I couldn't get them separated fro nothing. It says 2 min at a time but after an hour of heating and prying, they didn't budge. Am I doing something wrong, or did I miss something? Just seeing if anybody else has tried it.

That would look totally sweet. Everyone who I have seen do it has a black truck. I would really like to see white or blue or red. Do it dude, that would look awesome. One of a kind.

Yeah, I think it would look awesome, but I am afraid of melting the light to get it to pull apart. The light will not separate for some reason.

you sure it wasn't just a fantasy???

Did you read RedRam's DIY? There could be something different w/ the new lights - a catch or something - but it might get you closer https://dodgeforum.com/m_1224770/tm.htm

Never thought about doing that in a color other than black but now the gears in my head are turning... I wonder how some white in there would look...

whites ugly...lol are you talking bout white cab lights or head lights????

for the headlights you could get rid of the amber on the blinker and put in a bright amber led blinker
