Default OT Housing Relief Bill

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/16/bu...yt&emc=rss

This truly sickens me to the core. Those washington bureaocrats are going to give all these tax incentives to businesses to prop up their bottom lines and the consumer will never see a dime.

Im not into politics at all but it is pure bs! All that free money and the citizens will not see or save that dime. Its amazing how ridiculous our government is- hispanics not paying taxes and get whatever they want as far as breaks and free money. Large company businesses that constantly go bankrupt-yet lets approve a bill that helps them out. Hello im going bankrupt paying for increases in fuel and other bills that seem to go up because companies see fuel go up and they also compensate by raising their prices. Where is my big relief check?

Exactly ...and when the businesses get their relief, do you think the prices go down and the consumer is positively impacted? Heck no! But you can bet that some big shot gets a 7 figure bonus!

I'm sick of this...

Well, the people who make these decisions are the ones we elect into office. Most are the same good old boys year after year. Remember Strom Thurmond, 93years old and still getting voted into the senate. The guy couldn't even remember if his pants were zipped but they still kept voting him into office. You may not be able to change the law, but you do have something to say about the guy who does. VOTE!!!!!!! if you don't then you don't have a bitch coming.

Understood and agreed. These last two election cycles I didn't vote for any congressman alreadyin office. Even at a local level, I didn't vote for the same ol' good ol' boys. Sick of people lining their pockets with tax dollars.

Think about this for a minute.............All the bail-outs and tax incentives going out, where do you think the money is coming from.

The treasury department just prints up more green backs. Since the early seventies, the federal reserve sold off all the gold that backed up the value of the US dollar. Today, the US dollar's value is a "faith based" value.

When the treasury department prints up more money, it just devalues what little stability the dollar has at that time.

Not good..........
