The fire academy I went through has those for drivers practice. They are really realistic. I actually rolled the fire truck and yes I was trying too to see if it would do it. The brakes also feel like air brakes. They are a lot of fun.
This is a ship simulator here in Covington LA, called MPI.( Maritime Pilots Institue) We download our software of our route on the Mississippi River to run the route here and practice manuveaurs which would be impracticle out on the river except in emergencys.

After the class, I talked the owner/instructor to program up a ship going out Southwest Pass into the gulf and building up the seas. I think that he ran them up tp about 60 ft. seas. I've seen the program run up to 100 ft. seas, and it was just insane.
Most of the other guys walked out of the simulator before the seas got very bad. They must have had a weak stomach! Me, I was hoopin and hollowing!
