Kev,
did you get the injector lines back in correct?
If you turn it off after running it, then try to start it right back up before air has time to leak in the line, that might let you know if air is getting into the system.
just a thought.

this has happened twice in the same week.

the vegi oil screwed me up bad for a while. it should all be gone now.

guess I could pull the injectors and have them flushed again....but thats a 1/2 day off from work.... errrrr

I noticed the other day that my charge indicator (idiot guage) was showing less than normal. maybe the computer is having a "bad week" ..

hey kev what kinda problems did you have with your veggie oil? have been burning it in mine for about 10k or so and have had no problems. only thing with veggie oil if you have crap in your tank it picks it up more than diesel so until the tank is clean and your getting clean oil it will plug the filter faster than with just diesel. second of all have had to replace the fuel supply line from the bell housing to the pump and the return line that comes from your injection pump if they get cracks in them the will give you intermittent long crank at times due to air intrusion. the worse they get the fuel will begin to leak. does it help to prime the fuel system with the factory lift pump? let me know willing to help but would try a fuel filter first i guess

Since WVO is such a potent cleaner, you think it could be that it cleaned crap outta the lines AFTER the filter? Maybe you have gunk in the rail or injector bodies?

at first the truck ran fine on vegi. up to a 50/50 blend. we got a sudden idea to add more vegi and increase the blend to 75/ 25 vegi to diesel. the egnine would stall at 75mph on the freeway. more than once in the same 10 miles. went through 3 fuel filters, 12 hrs of draining the tank- adding diesel-priming the engine with diesel-recharging the battery-and finally getting enough heat from starting fluid to burn the vegi off the cylynder walls. every time after that the engine caught small amounts of vegi, it would freak. after running 3 full tanks of old #2 lsd diesel through the engine, it ran better and increased 3 mpg in fuel efficiency.

I have not tried vegi since.

I do have 7 gallons at my house of freshly recovered vegi.

now recently, the truck will refuse to start. the only way it fires is with a dash of starting fluid. even if its hot from freeway driving and shut down for 10 minutes.

hey kev you have to have an airleak some where in your lines check to see what you had apart and that they are tight and then check all rubber hoses seeing as veggie oil is hard on true rubber hoses can be the only explanation by the way what engine you have 12v or 24v?
