OT: GOD DA*N DOG!
That sounds about right. I have a rott and I know if they areleft to their own amusement, they will find something to do, and it's usually not condusive tokeeping a house in tact.We keep ours in a kennel durning the day while we're at work to avoid one of those stories. She's gone through countless blankets and beds in her kennel though.

He has a kennel, but we didnt want to keep him cooped up all day while we are at work, so we put in a doggy door. He has plenty of toys to play with. I don't see why he did it though. He is a dumbass.
And to mayfairisafunnymfer-1. what the hell is with the screen name? and 2, I did beat his ***. When I got home this morning I wanted to throw him through a wall. He is the most annoying dog I have ever had in my life, and I have had alot of dogs. (Grew up on a farm.)

Don't feel so bad, I have three inside Boxxers, Yes I said THREE!. Well we started noticing the grout around some of the tile on the floor looked like it was eroding away. Well we came home one day and there was about a 4' sq area where they had LICKED the grout completely out from between the tiles. I tried to match the grout and patch it but wound up having to pay someone to come remove and regrout the entire floor.
$hit happens but I can tell you this, they will never do that again!!!

Some dogs will get separation anxiety and will chew anything and everything they can. Leave a radio/TV on so they think someone might be home. Or get them a big leather chew toy.
