you can kennel them while you're at work. I used to not want to do that. One thing you may try is butting up the kennel to the doggy door so the dog can go outside but still come in to the kennel to get out of the heat. Also if you try to leaf the dog outside for the day make sure you set out two water bowls so in case he knocks one over. I built a lil shelter for their water and a huge 4x8 doghouse, even put up vinyl siding and shingles on it. Just took it apart to take to the dump since I'm moving. If there's a feed store near you go there and look for a water bowl there, they sell those larger metal water bowls that are hard to tip over.

As for kenneling for a long time, when I did work I was Mon tues thurs fri 10 hour days so they would be in there for a while, never pee'd in there. Even went hunting out in goliad and wound up taking forever to get a hog so when I finally got home they were in there about 17 hours. Get em used to the kennel, my dogs like em, I'll be downstairs doing whatever and theyll go totheir kennel and sleep, all on their own. Never never put them in the kennel as a punishment, that needs to be a fun safe place for em.

my dogs have eaten garden hoses, I finally bought a 3 foot one for them. Let's see they've taken off and chewed 3 window screens, chewed on my hose valve (one of those 1-5 outlets), chewed wood trim on the house, chewed on the cement fiber board. Chewed on the crown moulding for the water heater. Chewed on a 2200 bed frame, chewed on a 6,000 king size tempurpedic mattress (the material inside is pretty cool) chewed on several baseboard corners. Prolly 20-30 socks, 10-15 pairs of underwear, my gym shoes, my bowflex. Well that's about all I can think of. Ive said in another post or was it this one about them chewing on a block of concrete thy knocked off of my AC slab.

There is specific music for dogs. I'll look for it later on iPhone. But the tests they showed looked pretty good. It was on good morning America, you know you stay up late when you watch the morning shows before bed.

Oh 2 UF hats and a 07 jags draft hat.
