that its working? If its hunting and switching between 2 gears a lot, check your grounds on the batteries.

Might not be breathing very well. You check the air filter? Maybe bad spooling in the turbo? Dirty injectors? Could even be the gearing.

Rear end gearing. A lower number usually results in slower acceleration, a higher number gives better acceleration.

It would certainly help, but you will need to readjust your speedometer if you change the rear gear. Or you can run a larger tire to offset the difference.

i swich the rearend in my 1500 and i dont think that it change the speedo. but if it is because it is big jump then i understand.
what would happen if i pull off the cat and the other thing that i cant spell

It would get louder, and be illegal according to our government rules (which nobody gives a damn about anyway, lol). What other thing are you referring to?
