i notice that my truck dont push out no black smoke like the other i see all the time. i want black smoke. is that running rich for a diesel

Yes, black smoke means your not running as efficient as you could be. Black smoke is actually unburnt fuel. Looks cool, but your wasting fuel.

Also, there are a ton of tuners you can get to add power, and they can get you a CONSIDERABLE gain, blow some black smoke, and make you a VERY happy owner! Most are 300-700 though.

Yes, no smoke at all means you are running at peak efficiency. Gale Banks products blow -0- smoke, but he is expensive. Most owners like Edge, Smarty or PPE.
