I don't think that Diesel Power has a direct link to that page. It's on page 58. It talks about the DW, and how installing a Steering Box Stabilizer from BD Diesel fixed the problem. It's got pics and all.

a point to bring up... last year when my front end was loose, (tre's & draglink were shot), I had a slight front end shake at certain speeds but not the dw. even hitting some nasty CA potholes did not start the DW oscillation. I give credit to the aligment change in the caster. 2 trucks, heavy tires, dw only 1x... right after I got my 1st truck and learned of the caster fix. never again did I have a problem.

the new stabilizer is weak & the caster in the alignment is not enough... that would be my guess.

welcome to DF Ghost...

have a look at this thread...
https://dodgeforum.com/m_901227/tm.htm talks about the DW. I had it 1x on my 2000 gasser, did a ton of research and concluded the alignment fix would take care of it. after the alignment I put 60k on that truck and went up to bigger tires and never had the DW again, even with a severly worn tracbar and control arm bushings...

SC Willie
Just came back from a Camping trip and found out the Right front differential seal is leaking fluids. Have extended warranty so the dealer(stealer) will take care of it. During my questioning I was told that Chrysler(Dodge) has a more beefier front end the draglink and the stabilizer bar_dampner shock. It's a factory upgrade.I saw it installed on another truck in an adjacent bay. My first impression is that it can't hurt and only help. I'll update you'll when all the parts come in and my repairs are done.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
