Yeah, mine does it too. It doesn't bother me cause when you turn the brake off, it stops- its gotta be normal.

Yup I have the same noise comig from the turbo. I really noticed it when I put the S&B on. I believe its normal. However there was a time when it actually had a little backfire after that noise. No damage was done and the truck is still driving fine with 30000 miles on it.

I have noticed that that is the sound my truck makes at idle or when turning the motor off while it is in a ReGen state.

I run it with a Edge Insight showing the regen info all the time nowSoI know when to keep driving to clear the filter.
so sick of going to the dealer. but it has not thrown a code since my last update, when they also updated the console.

Word up all y'all!!! lol - sorry... wayyyyy tooo mmmuuuucccchhh ccccooofffeeee tttooodddaaayyy!!!!!!

Any how, got my rig back from the stealership, of course they said it was normal - BUT on the way home i did not have the exhaust brake on and had the radio off cuz my baby boy was sleeping i was enjoying the sounds of his snoring and sure enough it made the sound... not as bad but still made it. I put the jaker on and it made it even more. i have been trying to get a wav of the sound but its proving to be difficult.

it doesn't seem to hurt anything... but hey, im a puter geek. what the hell do i know!?!?!?!

Tell me about the "edge" my 6.7 only completed 14 regens out of 161 attempts. I pull a goosneck with average load of 8,000 lbs on the trailer. Will it void my warranty? My 07 has been in the shop seven times in the three months I've had it. last time in "this week" the turbo was caked with carbon. The dealer wanted to replace it but chrysler told them to clean it and put it on the road. Today is Saturday and the light is back on! Drove all of about 30 miles this time. I know the other dealers didn't clean the system properly, which doesn't help Chrysler or the Customer. I survived five years of flying choppers in the army. Own a metal business with three diesel fork lifts, rebuild old cadillacs, even go to church. What am I doing wrong?

What does this have to do with your truck? And how did you get out of the other 3 years? What did you fly and were you commisioned of warrant?

i was at the local race track camping for the weekend season opener and got a little bored. i remembered a thread where AZ2500cummins2008 said he pulled out the baffles from the intake....................so out came the leatherman flat head screwdriver and ten minutes later the baffle was laying on the ground and the intake was re assembled. i drove it home today (about 70 miles) i could hear the turbo whistle a little better and my lie-o-meter showed a 2-4 mpg average increase. and better yet NO GURGLE at all!!!!!!!

My truck gurgles as well, right when it disengages. When my brake is on, it seems to disengage at around 1200 to 1400 RPM unless in tow/haul mode. Is the same case for everyone? I wasn't sure if the brak was functioning properly.

Also, what exactly did you do with the intake baffles?

I put 20 bucks in my tank last night, and it showed 1/4 tank. I reset he Lie-O-Meter, and it was telling me 23, then I hit traffic stop and go and dropped to 17. I have not filled the tank since I pulled the big hunk of plastic out, so I will see if there was an increase in MPG after the next tank. I am getting me a crotch rocket this week, so I wont have to drive my truck every day. Getting a 2008 Suzuki GSX650F.
