Default Tranny Fluid Leak or Something...

I was under my truck making sure that I had a good spot to mount the Aero when it gets here later this week. I noticed something wet all around the tranny fluid pan. I couldn't tell exactly where is was comiing from and there was enough dirt that I couldn't even say for sure that it was tranny fluid, but I don't think it could be anything else. It looks like it might be seeping out all around the gasket for the pan. Has anyone ever had one leak all around like that. Also I noticed some solder looking stuff sweating out of the very front of the tranny. Never seen anything like it and have no idea if this is normal.

Not as much fluid as the picture, and it is all around. The pic looks like it is coming from the front, mine is all around. There is fluid dripping off the bolts that hold the pan on.

sounds like the bolts have loosened up. . .I had the same problem on an old nissan pickup I had. tighten them up, spray some simple green on it and pressure wash it off. after some time check it again for leaks.

but if its under warrant might as well bring it in, have them drop the pan, make em change the filters and you get some free fluid out of it...

you'll probably have to pay for the filter.
but good luck on that. lol

if it isnt leaking it is a seap. and a seap isnt covered under warranty. Been there done that.
it also depends on the dealership.

Thanks for the input guys. I just got back from the dentist and I can't feel my face, but as soon I some feeling returns I'll try and tighten the bolts. Idon't have to worry about the warranty, I don't have any left on the tranny. I'm at 90k miles.
