Yep. I'd be nice if it wasn't all rusted out. I think I'm gonna get all the rust off and spray something on everything to keep it from doing it again. Maybe a couple coats of clear. That'd be kick *** I think.
Do like I plan on doing as soon as I get the time. They make selveral different primers that actually have a chemical reation with the rust, nuetralizing it and the by product is another element that is black. You paint it on and the rust turns solid black, it has no affect or color change to metel that is not rusted.
After that, then you can paint the parts whatever color you want. No sanding, blasting, or cleaning is needed. In fact the the more rust present, the better the results.
I will post a DYI when I do mine.
That'd take a ton of crappy work outta the whole process. I'll be looking forward to reading that DIY!

this gonna happen in the near future? my truck was delevered to me with only 500 mi on the odo, and its like yours. the driveshafts especially are all orange
