The chase freedom card is not a bad one to keep as long as you pay your balance monthly. Good cash back rewards but apr on the high side. and I am not promoting because I work there.

im only eligible through my dad, he's been with amex since the early 80's, i had an amex through usaa at first, it was about a 400 a year card but usaa lets you have it for free, just have to meet their credit requirement... i wish it was my dads card. my buddy uses his dads corporate card all the time, i joke with him at the gym that he's good at the shoulder shrugs from when his dad asks him how the hell the bill is so high each month, but this effer racks up 4k a month on it.....but he lives in NYC so its more reasonible, at the diner by his apt the cost for just some chicken fingers, fries and a soda......24 bucks... thats insane!! i dont even want to know how much he pays a month for the gym up there, i paid like 400 up front for the year at golds gym, but thats in san antonio....

oh i could never have that without my dad, no denying that, bout the only thing he is good for though, good father was too much to ask for (thats a whole nother long therapy session there)

LMAO from this part of the link [ul][*]Translator[*]AmEx's crack team of international speakers will make arrangements for you in non-english speaking countries, even Tonga. [/ul]Im gonna have to email my buddy, he just spent in sep around 12 or 15k on a first class ticket to get to Tonga to see his girfriend, yeah tell me this makes "financial sense" a regular 3rd class trip to tonga from nyc was about 1,800 bucks, and his sorry *** didnt want to sit in coach for that long so he paid the equiv of around 7 3rd class tix. sure its a long flight, what like 6 or so hours cross country? and then about 10-11 hours to auckland then a puddle jumper to tonga so i can see why youd want the space, now im 6'4 and i like room, but first class isnt even first class any more, i remember back when it was first class, me and my mom would go to europe every year and then one year the price was about the same but it was business select, what a downer.

btw tonga is some small third world country that is becomming a hangout for yachties (aka people that have way too much money and buy yachts)

oh and im 25 now, i turned 25 on saturday.... so for all you nerds if i was a laptop i would be down to like 65% battery life left before i die [:@]

well as you say "for people with way too much money" they don't neccessarily need to have "financial sense" especially if its not their money. this the same friend that you said uses his dads corporate card for everything? oh the burden's of some... i hear ya on the great dad thing though. only i dont get the benefit of a black card. that would be awesome. i dont even talk to my dad anymore. almost none of our family does, including my brother and sister. it started going way downhill when he started dating his ex from 30 yrs ago only a few months after his then current wife of 25 yrs and my mom was killed. after a few trips paid for by an insurance settlement brought from her death, he married her less than a year later... hate that man and he sees nothing wrong with it. he flat out told my siblings and me that she was more important to him cause "the bible says to honor your wife above your children". i wanna punch him in the face. ok, done ranting for now

yeah thats pretty ****ty, thats what my dad went through with his dad, his mom died of parkinsons in her 30's and he remarried and treated his two sons like crap... his dad also treated my mom like dirt....

you know not to get on a religion rant, but ive noticed some of the worst people are very religious. my uncle is a huge religious person, yet is getting a divorce because he got caught letting his girlfriend live in a condo he owned that his wife knew nothing about...

yeah its the same phucker, he had a big ol excursion V10, gets about 8 maybe 9 mpg, he's been having 140 dollar fill ups for years now... so what does he do, he trades that in for a new escalade, DAMN SOB. oh well usually i try to get him drunk enough that he puts the bar tab on his dads card so it works out then...lol
