Was at the local dealer ordering a part. Noticed an 05 sitting in the lot. Long story short, they cut me a deal I could'nt pass on. 50K miles and looks brand new. I like the looks of the 2nd gen better but I don't have to worry about the 53 block anymore.

That is a sharp looking rig. I love the 2nd gens. too, but newer engines just keep getting more and more reliable, good move.

What did your 2nd. gen look like?

I like that truck too, but I won't give up my second gen. I love the thing and I think I would feel really guilty to sell it.

Nice looking rig. I like those factory chrome step rails on there, I just put a set on my truck yesterday. Got them brand new in the box for 250 so I couldn't pass it up. Love that color too!

I loved the look of the dutch doors on my old truck but they were a real hassle in the tight parking spots at the plant. the four "real" doors are more prectical. So is the extra 100 horsepower[&:]. My wife put my smarty on ebay and it sold in 2 hrs so I got some mod cash coming

its ok sweetheart, i still have a 2nd gen and wont be getin rid of it probly ever, since i will NEVER GET EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT I PUT INTO IT!!!!! HAHA. nice truck man i would love to have one but i got rid of a new one like that for an older one like this, just so i could go back to the "rugged offroad" look. if i had it any other way i would be driving a subaru imprezza WRX... you gotta love the interior of those new rams though man
