There are plenty of people in AZ that do this sport becasue that is where it was invented. I would love to have gone to Festival of the West last month but it would have cost $1600 in diesel just to get out there and back with my trailer.

We carry 2 pistols each with 5 rounds. Rifle competition has one pistol and one rifle, each with 5 rounds. They are trying to get a 3 gun competition going, 1 rifle, one pistol and one shotgun. I helped them put on a demo at the Nationals last week, but I'm affraid 3 guns is just too many to shoot from a horse.

 

That's probably true. Even 2 is pushing it for what I think I'd be capable of. Of course I've never shot from a moving horse either.
