FYI Amsoil
I was just looking at the amsoil website and saw that they are going to start charging 5% "extra".
From the amsoil website:
"Due to recent large increases in the costs of raw materials and associated costs of bottles, packaging, hard parts, freight, etc., an energy surcharge program is being implemented effective May 1, 2008. The surcharge will be determined and set on a monthly basis and applied to all programs in the US and Puerto Rico. For the month of May the energy surcharge will be 5 percent and calculated on the product total after applicable discounts. In Canada, this surcharge will be implemented in an expected range of 3 to 5 percent for all programs effective June 1, 2008. The specific percentage will be determined in late May. Watch for an announcement of the exact June 1, surcharge amount for both the US and Canada on the AMSOIL website at www.amsoil.com during the last week of May."
I know some of you use their preferred customer program. If you are going to need oil soon, order now.
