Default OT... Summer Vacation to Utah...

Looking to do a solo trip (wifey still cant go) to visit Great Basin, Bryce, Zion, Canyonlands and if I drive my truck, Moab... Trip would be in late June for 10~12 days

Can anyone help with info on any remote (aka free) camping sites close to any of these parks? Louie cant go this trip [sm=boohoo.gif] as doggies are not allowed on trails. Which sucks, he'd love it.

I know it sucks! she's studying for her board exam so she can become employed again, then heading off with her sisters to WA for a weak in late July. the good thing though is she's about 2 weeks from being done with school, then just needs to finish her intern hours and she's done. (radiology technologist).

We're planning a move north someday and I mentioned I wanted to go visit these parks before we do, her response was if it's desert, I'm not interested... I'll have to take a million pics to show her what she's missing...

if it were possible to have him on the trail I'd do it but I understand why they want to keep animials off the trail... keeps the trail in the best shape possible and does not spook the wildlife...
