Unfortunately, they are the only garage in our small town that will work on a diesel, unless I take it to the dealer and pay much more.

As much as I hate to say it, if you took it to the dealer it MAY actually SAVE you money by properly diagnosing the problem

they do get the parts from the dealer. I called the dealer to find out about the prices and he asked about Stellar doing the work, I said yes, I was just a little confused about it including the labor. I guess I will just have to bit the bullett, have Stellar do it, then I will have their 2 year warrantee on the work.

Do I have a FCA in my 2000? If fixing the TPS and the FCA,,, maybe that would help the surging? I'm sure if I continue to drive it and the waste gate on the turbo is not working right, I'll hurt my engine eventually. Correct?
