it's the 560K+ population that kills it for me... hate the big cities. Where I live it's getting way to over crowded as well... Elk grove had 89K when I moved here and is now 135k... Sacramento, 365k when I arrived, 420k or more now. 20~25k is big enough for me... lotsa elbow room.
You sound like you need to live in Wyoming. I'm in Casper (the BIGGEST city in Wyoming), population: 50,000
There's a mountain within 10 miles of downtown with a ski resort, 2 big lakes within 30 miles, tons and tons of prarie dog hunting... and elk, deer, pronghorn, ect.

You guys in the big cities can keep that. You're a better man than I for it, but f$%k living in one.

hell yeah, now your talkin... any pics of the general area??? I doubt I could ever get the little woman to move, she's not a fan of the white stuff... we were planning a move up north into oregon but that got put on hold because of the current housing market/problem. Where I work... would totally be acceptable... Grass Valley/Nevada City, about 15k pop between the 2 plus maybe another 3~4k in the surrounding towns & communities. It is really nice up there.

I think Casper is too big for Steve-o. He'd do better in Bessemer Bend or Medicine Bow. I always thought Cheyenne was the biggest city.
