Running mirrors up or down?

RE: Running mirrors up or down?
OMG, there is some funny posts in this thread allready .
I definitely like the function of them when they are flipped out. There is much better visibility. However, I think that it looks gay, unless it is a lifted truck (a little more than my truck would be nice) or if it is a drw.

I agree with buzzy. They look retarded folded out when not pulling a wide trailer. They do offer alot more visibility, thats why they are there. I see that alot around here, most of the people with those mirrors have them folded out. I am sure it kills fuel economy even more when they are folded out. If you dont worry about fuel economy or looking stupid, than I say unfold them. Personally, I would listen to the GF.

More wind drag with them up and the trucks about 2 inches wider at the mirrows, but it up to you.
