I guess my feable attempt at humor failed.... since I am having to explain it.
Well, if you weren't from swollen beaver then where were you from? Were you hatched? (Never mind)

Well, technically, I was out of the country for my birthday, so it doesn't count.
You didn't see my whole explanation about the Swollen Beaver story?

What do you mean "technically" it isn't your birthday... do you mean to tell us you aren't really from Swollen Beaver, too?

I think I may have actually been considered produce at one time and may have fallen out of a tree???
Oh, nevermind, that's just what happened to me AFTER I hatched.

What brand tires are you going to get? I just want to pick up some stock on them before this is all done.

Seriously though, I'm probably gonna get a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers, 295/70/17.

Hey Rich.....question for ya.
Does your Smarty have a program that re-calibrates the speedo from over sizing the tires?
Instead of giving the truck to the stealership to monkey around with trying to re-calibrate, maybe it's better to do it myself with a Smarty, if indeed it has the program.
Thanks

If you download the new Revo software, it'll allow you to modify a whole bunch of other goodies too; timing, rail pressure, TQ management, top speed limiter, etc.

DA.....DA.....DAAAAAAAMMN!!
Okay, so instead of the beer, I went and messed with the Smarty a bit.
Holy crap, that thing makes insane power.
I started out on Level 4, with the Edge on 0 just to try it out, and only mild TQ management. This should have been comparable to the Edge on 3. It felt very much like the Edge, except the power came on lower in the RPM range. Cool, I thought.
So then I bumpedthe Edge up to Level 3. Still had the Smarty on 4 and TQ management on 2. Well, this woke 'er up. I could barely get into the throttle when the TC locked up in 4th or it would slip it QUICK. Definitely more smoke than before on this setting.
So I stopped at the gas station, programmed the Smarty to Level 6, set the TQ management to 3 and put the Edge back to 0. Went inside, got a soda, waited for it to program and took off. Whew hew, giddy up mama. I really had to be careful here, as the TC wasn't standing a chance.
Well, almost back to the house, I bumped the Edge up to 3, turned the OD off, locked up the TC and got into, just a bit. Good cloud of smoke and off it went. So, for 'ish and giggles, I bumped the Edge up to 5, locked the TC, and got into, again just a little bit. HOLY GREAT BLACK CLOUDS OF DEATH BATMAN!! There won't be any skeeters in my neck of the woods for a while. I thing I re-blacktopped the road with that one.
Man, I can't wait to get that new tranny in. Just need to keep this one together long enough to get me down to Florida.
