I installed an Edge Mileage Max on my '07 2500 CTD today. Installation was very simple. The module mounts under the hood so there is no penetration through the firewall grommet. The thing I immediately noticed is that it adds some noticeable pep to the engine. I intend to fill up this evening and start a hand calculation of MPG. My truck is a daily driver. I drive about 75 highway miles round trip to work a day. My mileage without the Edge is between 18 mpg and 19 mpg if I drive sensibly. I am hoping to add another 1.5 to 2 MPG while making a little more HP. I'll give a report later.....

 

Let us know how it works out for you. I've heard a lot of different opinions about those but I want to hear the truth from someone that owns one.

 

18-19 is pretty sound already, hopefully it works out for you. If you can keep your foot out of it.

 

Yes, please keep us posted on how the Edge works out. I bought the Quadzilla Max Milage, and lost 1-1.5 mpg on the open road. City driving stayed the same.

 

I pulled about 2mpg outta the 70hp setting on my Smarty Jr. definately let us know how it goes....
