Default Suncoast Tq. Conv.

Who all is running suncoast Tq. Conv. What do you all think about them? Any issues? Is it worth paying the extra dime for the ATS to run the Smarty on 100hp Tune?

Personally I would buy the Suncoast before the ATS. Actually I am buying the Goerend, but I would still buy Suncoast before ATS.
Not sure about Suncoast but Goerend does offer Lifetime warranty.

dood... you haven't made up your mind yet ?? Again, since you are very close to Suncoast you'd be crazy not to go with them.
Get ATS out of your mind.

I think they are about $1250. However price was not the issue with where mine is coming from, I am getting Goerend stuff because there is a Goerend installer about a half hour from me.

IfI wasthat close to Suncoast I would go Suncoast. Mail order is OK, but having someone "local" on something like that is priceless!

I'm getting the whole kit and kaboodle done on Weds, so I'll let you know what I think of it all.

I'm getting it done down at Sun Coast and I plan on hanging around the shop and observing as much as I can and taking as many pics as I can.

I'll be sure to do a whole write up and what my opinions are on it all.

You'll be able to handle a whole heck of a lot more than 100 extra hp with it. The torque capacity on it is over twice what the OEM converter is. Get the TC, the VB and maybe the input shaft and you should have not issues with 100 HP.

I'll let ya know, I plan on throwing more than that at mine.

Georend wants $1050 for Triple Disc Torque Converter with 100,000 Mile Warranty and $1295 Triple Disc Torque Converter with Limited Lifetime Warranty.

LOL well I did make up my mind and then suncoast magically raised the price $1000 when I dropped off the truck which I didn't have that much extra cash laying around so I took my truck back. But Webb is gonna install suncoast parts for cheaper and its the grandson of the guy that started suncoast and the son of the current owner so I got faith in him.

Then an unexspected move set me back and new furniture dug into the tranny fund.
I'll get it but yes patience is getting short.....
