regen mode basicaly dumps raw fuel into the exhaust to burn off the soot on the DPF and turn it into ash.
so yea, your dumping fuel for no reason other than to clean up soot.

hell of a concept, save the environment by not releasing any soot, too bad you end up using twice the fuel you realy need to. i bet they left that little detail out of their presentation to the EPA!!!!!![sm=wtf.gif]
