how do i know which tranny i have? 03 2500 automatic...i broke the shift cable from the shifter inside the truck to the tranny. in order to order a cable i need to know which tranny i have. 48re 47re 45rfe?

The 545 was only available with the Hemi, so that eliminates that.
If it's a High Output engine, you have the 48RE.
Besides, externally, the 47 / 48 are identical, the changes are to internal parts for strength.
The shift cable should be the same.
