Default Got a new truck!

Well, finally decided to pick out my cummins. Ended up getting a '05 SLTQC Long Bed, charcoal grey. Have driven it about 200 miles so far and love it! Did a quick fill up to see what my mileage was....18.92mpg.... pretty dang happy with that considering I was towing my jetskissomeand also a little heavy on the pedal at times.

It has a Volant CAI, something done to the exhaust, and is chipped (not sure how or what, am getting the box hopefully tomorrow).

I can't believe the power of this thing. Dad wanted a quick race against his E-350V10 van while heading into town, he had me off the line (I only gave it 1/2-3/4 throttle and stillhad wheel spin)but I caught him instantly and it was no contest of course.

The pic sucks, stupid camera thought it was too dark out.

How many miles? If you don't mind me asking how much was it out the door? I like to compare my price to others around here... Now is a good time to buy a diesel!

Welcome to the club!!!!

Thanks!

She has a 106k on the clock, doesn't bother me since its a cummins and has a new tranny. I paid just under 20k out the door. What's your miles and price, I am curious too, always interested to know if I really did get a good deal.

I'm thinking I'm gonna get an Edge juicewith attitude. Can't wait to start the modding process.

I got mine as is for $21 k out the door. Bought it 6-7 weeks ago with 63k on the clock... now has 70k miles. Couldn't be happier though

Thanks!

Yeah, that was a power steering leak from my old truck. This one doesn't leak a drop.

I'm glad your happy with it. My self I would never buy a used truck that I knew that had a programmer/chip on it as who knows how it was driven or abused.

I am happy with it. I understand where your coming from, but this truck was taken care of. Besides, the tranny would go long before the engine, and it has a fairly new one. Not everyone with a chip hotrods it, especially with diesel prices the way they are.

Did I read this correctly to mean it has had the transmission either rebuilt or replaced already? If so then one would only assume it was because it was chipped.
