Default Turbo mod?

Ive read about drilling the the acuator tube with a 3/32 bit for more boost. Wheni took the tube outit was larger than the bit.so am i looken at the wrong part to drill?I was looken at the hard black line comen from the turbo to the waistgate.Thetruck is a "01 auto" is this a pretty much safe mod to do? thanks for the help

there is actualy a 'boost elbow' you can get that has a hex head bleed off that will allow you to build more boost.

I know the page says for 12 valves, but this will also work for your 24 valve as well.

i see how it fits to my 05 it has a rubber line that would be simple to install, but my 01 ther is a steel tube that goes into the turbo housing bout 1/2 inch any other ideas??

I don't have a pic, but if i can install a new boost elbow, ANYONE can

I had to replace the boost elbow when I got my Edge Comp box. It was really easy to do.

the best thing would be to cut off some of that steel tube and get some rubber hose to hook to it.

besides, your 05 doesnt need this, it is an electronic wastegate
