I'll crawl underneath and get a few pics of everything installed.

It's friggin raining like crazy right now, so I ain't going out there.

Then, as Barry put it, you can see my FREE transmission......what I really paid nearly 7K for was a sticker, a hat and a t-shirt.

I was juts looking for pics in your other post. Thanks for putting them up !! Please remind me of this place when / IF I should ever need a tranny. Sounds like the way to go. I'm totally impressed that they were able to get you in and out in a day. That's amazing !!

Now then ... on another note ... where are your well liners??

Mayfair was probably the hall monitor in school, "Where's your hall pass?!" has now turned into "Where are your wheel well liners?!"

Congrats on the tranny, sounds like a winner.

Well, here are some pics of the finished install. Not that all that new pretty, new, shiney painted stuff is noticeable or anything...

Okay, this place is getting creepy.

First, with all the eye-candy I'm trying to put in the video, someone notices my hairy feet in the reflection from my bumper as I'm walking toward the truck, focused on the CTD badge and mentions nothing else about the video.

Now, I have Mayfair picking out my lack of wheel well liners in a thread about a tranny install.

I'm gonna stop taking pictures of my stuff. Next thing you know, somehow, someway, all the stars will align and I'll end up catching a picture of my wife naked that gets reflected off the neighbors windows, onto my mirror, and shows up as a ghost image on the camera lens.

Rich. . .try SW#6 and turn your edge to #2. . . .

I'm fiddling around with the TNT, finaly got smarty and TST to work together, but the pressure level I have smarty set at is rather annoying so I set it to default SW#2. even with just #2 on the pressure my RPM's would hang while the pressure was being bled off. found running the early twins program on my TST gave enough duration to help. . .but didnt fix it totaly.

just got to remember with TNT, SW#1 is 100hp, while #9 is somewhere around 230hp. standard Revo starts at 30 and ends at 170hp

I wouldn't have thought you'd have it any other way at Suncoast. Joe Webb the guy who started the company was a very highly respected man. He and Jeff Garmon go way way back in performance. He died a couple years ago but, to this day has the admiration of all who knew him. Apparently a genius with trannys.

I wanted to say.... I don't know what all you had done but, don't be surprised if you see higher tranny temps. I know you say you see them lower but, built trannys run hotter by nature due to the higher pressure in the VB. It's not a bad thing unless you see the temps over 220F

So far, on the 220+ miles that I ran back here to the house, the temps were considerably lower. Like I was saying earlier, 12 - 17 degrees at highway speed. I think it's more the double deep, aluminum,Mag-Hytec pan than anything else keeping those temps low at highway speed.....the thing is enormous.

Now, I haven't beaten on it in day to day, stop and go, boosted launches yet, but it's definitely lower. The highest I got it to was 170*, where it normally would have been 180 - 183, while I was messing with this friggin goober in a Chebie that had more goofy stickers than you see on the ricers.

Thats what I thought was wierd, I am seeing higher tranny temps. I put the amsoil in thinking it would help, and the shop took out I think what was called the pressure censor?, it was a little ball in one of the lines, guess it allows better flow and pressure without.

Drew,

Right now, I using the Smarty on 6 and messing with the TQ Mgmt more than anything else. I'm not messing with the rail pressure too much, I don't like how the throttle seems to hang waiting on the bleed off.

I'm also not screwing with the timing on the Smarty either, as I don't want it messing with the Edge timing.

I'm letting the Edge handle the timing, the Smarty handle the TQM, and then I'm adjustingthe Edge settings for the on-the-fly stuff.

I'm liking the Smarty on 4 or 6 w/ a TQM of 2-3and the Edge on 3. This seems to give pretty good driveability and I can still drop the hammer and not have the engine miss up high. Smoke output doesn't get excessive until I bump the Edge up to 4 or 5 and have the Smarty on 6 or higher......then it rolls coal pretty good.

I may go to the track tomorrow night, as long as the weather holds out. The track that's about 5 miles from my house has test and tune on Friday nights. Maybe I'll pic a few fights once I get the feelfor it at the track. We'll see, I'm gonna mess with it a bit tomorrow. I wanna feel out the tranny a bit before I really get on it good.

I think I'm gonna order the ATS exhaust manifold today. I wanna get the airflow as high as possible. While the black smoke is part of the fun, it's still wasted HP.

Besides, that will be a nice setup for..........TWINS!
