i asked about the boost elbow couple days ago for my 01 auto. does the elbow restrict air to the blowoff or allow more air to get to it?

 

actualy what it does is bleed off air going to the waste gate to delay opening it up. this will allow you to run higher boost numbers, but be carefull and dont over spin the turbo or it will sling apart on you.

38-40psi is all that stock turbo can push on your 01 before things get 'interesting'
