sellin the rig?
guys, things are gettin tight for me. and i am concidering selling the rig. i owe alot of money on this truck, and i have put ALOT of money into this truck, so i am going to want alot of money for it, i need to get about $20k and to me its worth it, but i can imagine its gonna be pretty hard to get these days. what do you guys think >?
suspension lift, wheels, tires, edge juice/attitude programmer, attitude pillar mount, brand new VP44, FASS, Bed tool box, Bed caps, Custim stacks, and intake are worth around $7000 alone, and i only have 65,000 miles on this rig, and it has absolutely nothing wrong with it so i gotta see. i would get a subaru wrx if i got rid of this...for thos who dont know about them, they are amazing cars, awd turbo with 305hp. 26-28 mpg

Why do all that work to your truck and then give it to someone else? Unfortunately you'll probably find that you'll only get a few thousand more for your truck than a stock one with the same miles / features. I'd give it a long hard thought. Just giving you my opinion which is based upon having sold too many vehicles in the past that I wished I'd kept over the years. The price of fuel is a consideration, but if you loose thousands to save hundreds (the difference in fuel) it doesn't really make much sense. What if a year from now gasoline is more expensive than diesel again? You don't want to see a truck like yours and wish you still had it.
The 305hp version of the WRX STI, it gets 17 city, 23 hwy and thats premium unleaded which is barely cheaper than diesel right now where I live:

Keep the truck and buy a beater to run errands, commute to work, ect. I bought a 94 Geo Prizm LSI from my neighbor for $500. Its got 210K mile but she bought it new, everything works, the air blows cold, looks great (for 210K miles) and gets 32mpg. There is also a certain freedom driving this car because I don't care if I get door dings (park next to a shopping cart corral), it's easy to park and its kind of fun to drive a manual once in a while.
You want to get as much money back on your truck a possiable? Take every performance part you have ver installed on it, off. And put the truck back together in stock form. Sell your performance parts on ebay (much better exposer than craigslist) and then sell the truck. That's how your going to make the most money back. But your still going to be upside down in the end.
