the truck is stock, that is off the overhead. on my hand calculated averages the overhead is within .5 mpg. the 6.7 needs mileage under her belt before it gets diecent mileage. every tank since 22500 my mileage has gone up. i will be filling up tomorrow and i will post a tank average. i do 70% highway 30% city. the 20 - 22 number i get is highway only. this past winter i got 16.5 hand calculated highway coming home from Maine pulling a open 2 place snowmobile trailer loaded.
What dodgeinfocenter didn't tell you is that not every dealer is going to be able to sell 4500/5500. Only "business link" dealers are going to be able to sell these trucks. Out of 4000 dealers nationwide, only 400 are business link dealers. There is a very strict set of standards that you have to meet to be a business link dealer. There are only 4 business link dealers in Georgia. You can see more info here>>>>>>> http://www.dodge.com/en/business/businesslink/
I haven't checked mine but I can tell that it is starting to get better. I pulled my trailer from Flagstaff, AZ to Cedar City, UT. the over head said 10.8 when it usually says somewhere between 8 and 9 pulling my trailer.
