I'm gonna go run over to my local tire change place and see if I can work a deal with them.

If I can con them into giving me a worn down set of 17" tires to melt down and remount and balance my tires.........I'll get you some shots.

Maybe if I give them a little plug in the video, they'll hook me up.

 

Don't you have some old steelies or something that you can just throw the worn tires on without having to remove your tires and then put them back on the rims?

Perhaps Dave / parts/service can be of some "service" here"

Okay, right now I have it set up for Friday morning.

Wayne, at Performance Truck Centers, has a set of 4 tires for me. If they weren't a set of C range tires off of an F150, I'da just used mine and kept the 4 he has. He's gonna mount mine back on when we're done.

He's gonna let me use their parking lot, so I don't have to worry about tickets and all that crap.

Should be a bit-o-fun.

 

I'd love to do it right in front of his place, but that's a 105 mile drive from my house up there just to do a 10 second burnout.

 

I still have two of my old stockers looking for some steelies.

I have Friday morning lined up at Performance Truck Center in Auburn. The manager has set of four 17" tires off of an F150 that are actually in better shape than mine......except that they are C Load Range.

He's gonna mount those up and let me melt them down in the parking lot and put mine back on when I'm done.

I showed him the video and he was all about letting me tear it up in their parking lot.
